Russborough House, Co. Wicklow

Russborough House is said to be the longest house in Ireland, measuring 210 m/700 ft. It is also one of Ireland's best preserved 18th century houses. It was designed by Richard Castle and took 10 years to complete, some time in the 1750s.

Today, the house is open to the public, operating as a not-for-profit organisation, where they aim to 'promote the advancement of education in the fine arts in Ireland and also to enrich the cultural life of the nation by promoting art, craft and music.'
