REWARD

Rickard Barrett and Edmond Flaherty, of Binghamstown (An Geata Mór), in the Barony of ERRIS, and County of Mayo, stand charged upon the Information on Oath of William Chambers, an extra-man in the Coast Guard Service stationed at Elly Bay, in said Country, with having on the Night of Saturday, the 29th of March last, committed a most violent and unprovoked Assault upon the said William Chambers, 'with intent to murder him, as he was returning from Duty at Broadhaven to Elly Bay aforesaid— 

NOW the Commissioners of Customs, in order to bring the above Offenders to Justice, hereby offer the Reward of:

ONE HUNDRED POUNDS, 

to be paid to any Person or Persons who shall, within the space of Six Calendar Months from the Date hereof; give such Information may lend to the Apprehension and Conviction of the said Richard Barrett (Riocaird Bairéad) and Edward Flaherty (Éamonn Ó Flatharta) or the Sum of

FIFTY POUNDS 

upon the Apprehension and Conviction of one or other of them.
