  • Anne was baptised on the 8th June 1845 in Rathvilly RC Parish (see abt. half-way down left page)... residece appears to be Ricketstown which is the name of a townland in Rathvilly civil parish. I also checked for possible baptisms of any siblings to Anne in Rathvilly RC parish, and located just one - a John Michael Barry bapt. 23rd April 1843 (see right hand page). Baptism records for the parish go back to the 1790s with a small gap.

A search found no sign of a marriage of Walter & Mary in Rathvilly records .. marriages usually took place in the bride's parish, so possibly she was from another parish.

Edit : found two further possible siblings - twins Joseph and James baptised on the 9th July 1837 - the entry is in a faded section of the register - see the right hand page. There appears to be a residence at the end of the entry - looks like Ty..ck. possibly a variation of Tiknock which is the name of a townland in Rathvilly civil parish.
