G'day, I'm looking for help tracing family history please. I can't find any records, parents etc for an ancestor by the name of Henry Nelson Bride. He was apparently born in Cork circa 1804, married Ellen Bourke who was also born in Cork circa 1810. They had several children and migrated to Australia on a ship "Young American".
Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi There are several court cases for Henry Nelson Bride and they have the same residence place name. These are in Ancestry in the 1853/5. The place name they give is Banolagh, looking for this place ?? but I do see Bannagh which is near to a place called Castlemagner. The nearest big town is Kanturk. This is where I saw the court cases. Looking at the ship record the eldest child was Patrick and he was 24, they went to Australia in 1858, born about 1834. This is where to search. In the Griffiths Valuation records 1852 this is Henry Bride. Griffith's Valuation (askaboutireland.ie) Sorry but I cannot find his parents.
