Looking for information on my ancestor George brown born 1750 in cavan and later married christina hayes in cork Ireland. They had a son named Alexander in 1773 in county tyrone any information would be helpful
In the 1700s it’d be comparatively rare for someone from Cavan to marry in Cork and then soon after have a child in Tyrone. Perhaps if he was a soldier, but few other professions would involve that amount of travel.
