Hi there,
My name is Mary (Brown) Zabora. I live in the US, Maryland. My ancestors are from Malin Head through my grandmother's mother, Sarah Bonner Dougherty.
I wrote to here:
http://donegalgenealogy.com/
and got all this wonderful info from Lindel Buckley:

"Hi Mary! They lived in Ardmalin, the last group of buildings on the left before you drive up to Malin Head signal station (which you can see in the far right of the attached photo from google maps) and Banba's Head. The area they lived in is called Ballyhillin (or sometimes Ballyhillion), which is in the townland of Ardmalin, in Clonca Parish. I have updated the Ardmalin census with notes I have on the family and they are online now at - http://donegalgenealogy.com/1901ardmalin.htm - just scroll down to household 32 to see the notes. If you like, I can include your name and email address in the notes, so anyone else interested in the family can contact you directly.
Just a note on the surname - you have them as Bonner but they were also known as Crampsy (O'Craimhsighe), which is the original Irish form of the name............when Daniel and Catherine married, he used Crampsey as his surname (see attached marriage registration), and some of the children were registered as Crampsy or Crampey too, but mostly would have been known as Bonar/Boner/Bonner!"
Fascinating stuff!
So just wanted to say hello and find out if I have any family left there and where Sarah's father, Patrick, is buried.
Thanks, Mary
P.S. I took an Ancestry test and it says I am 98% Irish with both sets of ancestors from Donegal County, specifically Inishowen and South Donegal.
