Fleming Altore

I'm trying to find out some information on my ancestors William Fleming (b. c1829) and Catherine Fleming (b. c1831). Their children were born in 1863-1866 in Altore, Lowberry in 1868, and Altore in 1872. When William died in 1879, his address was recorded as Lowberry. Catherine was living in Altore in 1901. I found a marriage for William and Catherine Fleming in 1850 in the parish of Ballintubber/Ballymoe. I have 5 other known children of the couple with no exact birth date but the earliest was born about 1853 which ties in with the marriage. 

I have been unable to find a Fleming family in Altore or Lowberry during the time of Griffith's Valuation. Catherine and three of her children were evicted from their home in Altore in 1898. After the eviction, the premises was handed over to a man from Hollymount. The family retook possession of the house but a man was put in possession of the property as caretaker and saw them re-enter the house. A newspaper article stated that the farm had been in the hands of the family for generations. The landlord was a man from Elphin but the eviction was carried out at the insistence of the man from Hollymount.

The newspaper article suggests that the farm belonged to the family for generations so I would have expected to see a Fleming at the time of Griffith's Valuation. The marriage in Ballymoe, if them, suggests that wife was from that parish rather than Kiltullagh but the husband could have still been from Kiltullagh. There is a chance that not everything was presented accurately and I don't know why a man from Hollymount would have wanted their land in particular. I would love to be able to confidently identify the correct family at the time of Griffith's or the Tithe Applotment books.
