My grandfather was Robert Hughes and think he came from Redcross village he was married to Eileen but think they were separated at the time if his death, I have seen a photograph of a headstone that says he died in 1967 Brittas bay, my great grandfather was William Hughes married to Bridget, he would have been Roberts father they also had a daughter Lucy and sons William and John, so just looking for any information on the Hughes family.

Below are links to the 1911 census for the William Hughes family in Ballynacarrig townland in Dunganstown civil parish. His wife was Bridget Brennan and they married in Dublin in 1897. Robert was born in 1902 and he married Ellen Reilly in Dublin in 1929. The marriage record for William and Bridget shows the names of their fathers. At this time, we only can access death records at the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie up to 1966 although 1967 should be added in the near future.
