From the baptismal record transcription on Roots Ireland, it appears Bridget was born in January 1882. I could not locate a civil birth record. I also located the church marriage record for the parents in 1878 which includes the names of the fathers of the bride and groom. I also located nine other baptismal records for siblings of Bridget and some children appeared to have died young because names are repeated. I also located the 1901 and 1911 census reocrds for James Neary and children. Bridget died before the 1901 census but I did not locate a death record. Bridget was not living with her father in 1911. I did also locate a Thomas Neary in Corrower townland in Attymass parish in the 1911 census. This is likely where the farm was located. Not sure where Bridget was in 1911 but I will look for her.

Hi Roger, this is amazing information! Thanks so much for your help and any additional information you can find would be helpful. I know Bridget came to the USA and married Hugh Patrick Durkin (also from County Mayo) in Sept 1909 in Philadelphia, PA. Not sure what year she came over but that’s why she’s not listed in the 1911 census with her father.
