Through dna results I found apparent siblings of my g-g-grandfather, Thomas Owens, born in NI, in the early 1800's, who married Mary Campbell (aka McCallum/McAllen & possibly Kelly) born abt 1804 in Ireland. They had at least 3 children in Ireland (Anne b.1826, Charles b. 1830, Margaret b. abt 1834).and then migrated to Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, where they had more children. I have no record of the birth/death of Thomas, and only Mary's death in Canada, no record of their marriage in Ireland. I always heard they were from Tyrone. However, through dna results, it appears his siblings, who also migrated to Canada--Anne b. abt 1805, and Edward b. abt 1807. Both Anne & Edward appear on family trees and Canadian church records of their marriages, and their place of birth is given as Cumber in County Derry, and their parents were Patrick Owens and Margaret Murray. One family tree has Patrick buried in Banagher. Anne married Daniel McKeever, who also came from Cumber. I am only assuming they were from Cumber Upper since it seems closest to Tyrone. I have uploaded my dna onto GEDmatch.com but still need to learn how it all works. Would be grateful for any further information and contacts
