Looking for any information about this couple as I can't find any. I'm guessing that they were born in the 1840's so married in the 1860's. Other family members were from Kells in County Meath. An impossible trace I'm sure with such sketchy information, but in desperation I thought it worth a try. Thank you.

www.rootsireland.ie/ has 23 Farrell Kells R C baptisms 1840 + - 10 years but not one Patrick amongst them! No Farrells in the Kells C of I or Presbyterean so I assume your lot were R C?
I couldn't find a marriage for Pat & Kath either I'm afraid.
When you mention other family members do you mean Pat's siblings? If so I can try to find their baptisms on roots
No luck with Kath in Kells R C

Hello there, and thank you very much for searching on my behalf. I knew that with such sketchy information that it was a long shot. I'm actually searching on behalf of an American DNA match of mine. All she knows is that Patrick and Katherine, her GGG Grandparents emigrated to the USA and gave birth to her GG Grandfather Patrick Farrell (born 1885). He married Helen Feehan in New Jersey. None of that helps, I know, but thanks again for trying. Kind regards.

Hello again Col, I've had a further thought. My GG Grandfather William Farrell was born in County Mayo in 1844 to Lewis Farrell and Esther Bellew, so given the DNA link to Patrick's GGG Grandaughter. maybe she and I are searching in the wrong County and need to look at County Mayo. Regards.

If they followed the Irish naming pattern with their children it will give us more clues

Hello again Col, they were RC and I know they had a son also named Patrick born 1875 in New Jersey, USA. This Patrick named his son William Patrick Aloysius, born 1918 in New Jersey, and he named his son Joseph. As for other children, I don't know, so intend suggesting to my USA cousin, Cindy, that she gets onto this message board. Regards and thanks again. Lyho.
