  • Hi Niki!

There are no RC parishes in Mayo which have records back to the late 1700s so you won't find Patrick's baptismal record. I responded to your other message. Im located the marriage record.

  • Hello Niki

Patrick Flatly and Mary Finnigan my 3xgrandparents did have a daughter Mary who died in Greenock poorhouse. She had a sister and there is someone else who is searching for a brother of theirs.

Another couple you are looking for Patrick McAulay & Margaret McKeon, I have seen her listed as Catherine not Margaret, are also my 3xgrandparents. Would like to hear from a new cousin.

Let's see what the future brings us

    Hello Gene,

I shall try again to contact you as I am planning a trip to Ireland and I am trying to get as much information as I can about our Irish ancestors, so I can hopefully find their hometowns and visit and maybe find a few photos to take albeit changed quite a bit since.  I will post here what i have on the Flatleys etc and then I shall go to the other posts and do the same in the hope of keeping it uncomplicated and maybe you would be kind enough to fill in any gaps and any information will be really appreciated.  Many thanks Niki. (nikidls@me.com).
