Good evening,
I'm seeking information on my 3rd great-grandparents, William Thompson and Jane M. Wilson, who were married 2 MAY 1848 in Kinsale, Cork, Ireland. I do not know who either of their parents were, but they both left Ireland within 2-3 years of their marriage and raised 7 children in the United States. I would appreciate any help in locating any more local family records in Kinsale.
I do know that William was a Blacksmith, but do not have many other clues to work from.

The marriage record on www.irishgenealogy.ie does not have the parents names either
Another source you can check is the Griffiths valuation for county Cork, this shows 4 people with the name William Thompson and where they lived between 1847and 1864
