Hi

I'm looking for information on the decscendents of Timothy Wrenn & Catherine Cremin. They got married in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick in Sep 1930. Timothy was a carpenter from Maiden Street, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. I found 7 children, born in Newcastle after 1930, whose mother's maiden name was Cremin.

Patrick (1931), Mary (1932 - 1932), Catherine (1934), Timothy Joseph  (1936 - 1936), Monica (1937 - 1939), Veronica (1940), & Ellen (1941).

I know Timothy Wrenn died in 1948, in Newcastle aged 50. Just wondering which graveyard or cemetery Timothy Wrenn & his family may be buried in? Or if there are any of his descendents still living in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.

  • Hello there Eliza, Jane has passed your message to me and "Yes" I personally know several of the Wrenn family however, I will need to investigate this particular branch of that same family. I am away from today until the 25th March so I would ask you to be patient until I return so that I might speak with members of that family.

Meantime do take a look at the Cemetary sites - information given to you by Jane, you may be lucky to find something of interest as many of the local cemetaries are shown.

Meantime my name is Jennifer Jean and I live very near to Newcastle West. I will come back to you in due course

  • Hi

Great to hear from you. I believe your grandfather Timothy Wrenn and my grandmother were cousins.

Do you know much about Timothy's parents or siblings?

  • Can my sister talk or email you.  She is the family historian.  We have very little information on my grandfather's family
