Good Afternoon,

My wife and I are digging into our family history and have come across a wedding that took place in Mayo in 1828. The Marriage was between John Welch and Mary Ann Donovan. John Welch was born in Hacketstown in 1801 and Mary Ann Donovan was born in Cork in 1811. The information we have is from a family book that doesn't contain references so we'd like to know if we can get confirmation of this wedding.

Any information would be much appreciated.

    Hello again!

    Many Mayo parishes do not have records back to 1828. I did search Roots Ireland for all of Ireland and found a marriage between John Walsh and Mary Donovan on May 14, 1829 in the RC parish of Cloyne in Co. Cork.
