This Heritage Centre which is attached to the local library honours Cloughjordan's famous citizen, Thomas MacDonagh, the patriot, poet, and family man who fought in the 1916 Rising and was one of the seven signatories of the Irish Proclamation.  The Centre is open throughout the year, admission is free and it also hosts a variety of special events and evenings.  Visiting groups are welcome and the Centre has hosted Heritage groups, Actively Retired groups and School tours over the years.

The Centre is open afternoons Tuesday - Sunday from 12-4 pm and late open on Fridays 4-7 pm.  For further information, please email the Heritage Centre.
