Florence I was contacted by Victoria Young whom I understand you met in 2009 as she reached John Ross, Yes we are in fact Related! My great grandfather was the youngest son of David and Isabella! I would love to hear anything you wish to share about the family!

I am apart of this family line as well! My great grandfather was Robert Thomas Ross (Parents John Ross/ Margaret Lunny). 

From his parents records I found David Ross (wife  Isabella Monahan?) I dont have a document that prove Isabella though and would love help with that.  

Is there any further information that anyone has found? I would love the birth and death dates for David if somoene has them?

Hello Kim

My name is  Florence Sonnex (nee Ross). I am on holiday in Ireland (Ballyconnell) at the moment so dont have all my paperwork to hand.

My grandfather was a brother of Robert Thomas Ross his name was Edward Ross born 12 April 1886 and died 24 February 1961 and his buried in the Ross grave in Tomregan Church, Ballyconnell.  I do not have much information on your great grandfather Robert Thomas Ross, only that he was born on 23 April 1888, emigrated to Canada, was Commisioner of Police in Canada and was married twice  - is this information correct?  Did you know that John Ross and Margaret Ross (nee Lunny) had 10 children, 5 girls and 5 boys?

The only information I have for Isabella is that she was born about 1805 and died on 27 December 1881 in Ummera, County Fermanagh.  David was born about 1786 and died on 22 November 1855.
