The last time the Clan visited this lovely area was in 2011. Many of the Clan members attending will be travelling from USA, Australia, New Zealand and the UK - not to mention one member who comes from Guatamala!
The International Gathering dates are 19-21 May 2017 and will be at the 4 Star family run Armada Hotel right at the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Included in the weekend’s programme will be a tour of this beautiful area including the Burren Visitor Centre; Lisdoonvarna, home of the famous Match Making season; the Cliffs of Moher [the tallest cliffs in Europe]; the surfers’ paradise of Lahinch and the quaint town of Ennistymon. Among the speakers will be local historian and genealogist, Paddy Waldron and the Clan’s Genetic Genealogist, Aidan Kelly giving an update on the Clan’s DNA programme. Also speaking will be members from America recounting successes in their search for their roots. A 5-course Gala Dinner will be the highlight of the Saturday evening, where friends old and new will meet to the tune of local musicians
