Was there a Quin family with a son named Peter who lived in the village of Quin?  He was born sometime between 1758 and 1770. He must have left Ireland sometime before or around 1776, because he came to the USA and became a Drummer Boy in the American Revolution (1776-1781). Do any records exist? Thanks, Margaret H Quin.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

It is unlikely that any records exist on your family. The RC records for Quinn RC parish start in 1816.

The Co. Clare library has a wonderful site for genealogy research but likely you will not find any records back to the 1758-1770 era. http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/genealogy/genealog.htm
