I am searching for any infromation on Michael E OMealey. I believe he was born in 1828 in Quin Parish. I am not sure about the exact spelling of the last name. He emigrated to the United States sometime before 1850.

The RC records for Quin parish go back to 1816 but unfortunately are not online at present. (Very few Clare parishes are online).
Later this summer the National Library of Ireland plans to place all RC parish registers online. I would review the Quin register when the records are online.
I also checked the Tithe listings for 1825 in Quin parish.I located two Malley entries in Ardsallas townland. Not sure if there is a connection.
