    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

www.irishgenealogy.ie is a free Irish government site which has church records for the Diocese of Cork and Ross. I would look for Timothy and Mary's baptismal records on that site. According to the online parissh register http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0046  records start in 1817.

  • J Tuohig,

I just bumped into your request. Pardon the interuption.

While I do not have any specific assitance I do have Timothy Twohigs and Mary Donovans in my tree. It appears that at some point my Twohigs / Tuohigs became Sullivan's. They appear to have moved from Schull to Sheepshead penisula before absconding to America. Have you taken a DNA test? If So would you be interested to put it on GEDMatch? I manage a few GEDMAtch profiles. I am happy to share both GEDMatch numbers and family trees. Trees are on Ancestry, MyHeritage, Wiki Tree, and FTDNA. I took the Big Y on FTDNA . I would like to see some Tuohigs / Twohigs take the FTDNA test to confirm my paternal lines.

Hope to hear from you, Kind Regards,

    Andrew (Tim) Sullivan
