  • I have a web site "the ballybrowney oconnors" - The Patrick O'Connor you mentioned was from Ballybrowney Mountain and also Redota.  My name is Patrick O'Connor and I am a direct descendent of that Patrick O'Connor.  The original Patrick O'Connor was a landlords agent for Lord Riversdale who lived at Lisnagar close to the village of Rathcormac.  He came from Kerry around 1780 to work for Lord Riversdale.  We know that we are related to the OSheas.

My email address is pat2712@aol.com and I would be happy to communicate with you and share what information I have.  While I now live in the US I was born in the old OCONNOR farmhouse in ballybrowney, where we have been for over 200 years.  We had a gathering last year in Ireland (Fermoy) of the descendants of Patrick OConnor - Over 50 people turned up.  Hope to hear from you.

    Best Regards
