Hello, I am looking for any information on Alexander Stewart who died 1849 and his wife Eliza Fitzsimon/Fitzsimmons whose brother was a Doctor. I do not know what his first name is, as in the autopsy report he is only mentioned as Dr Fitzsimmons. If anyone could assist with any information on the Fitzsimmon/Fitzsimmons family , I would be most grateful. Kind regards Judy

Alexander Stewart is a very common name in Co Dwn. Hard to trace without knowing where the faily lived. Plenty of Stewarts and Fitzsimmons in Co. Down on this site:

Hello Elwyn, Alexander Stewart born 1789 Bright, Co Down. He was the son of William Stewart and Mary McConnell. He married Eliza Fitzsimmons on the 27th February 1838. He died as a result of a head injury from an attack by unknown assailant in January 1843. I am trying to find out if they had any children, and what the name of Eliza Fitzsimmons brother was, as he was both the doctor who attended the autopsy and was Alexanders brother in law.
