Hello, my name is Catherine Guelbert-Thick and I am married to Michael Thick whose mother was Margaret Teresa Dooley. We believe that she was born and brought up in Annaghdown and lived with her parents Michael and Bridget in Tonnemace. We know that she trained as a nurse in London and qualified in 1948. She married Gordon Caton Thick in 1949. We are trying to locate evidence of her birth/baptism and also have knowledge of a brother Paddy. The records I have, show Margaret Dooley daughter of Michael Dooley (farmer of Tomemace) and Bridget (Known as Delia) Hardiman as born on 23 July 1918. Bridget (k/n Delia)Hardiman was born 3 December 1891 married Michael Dooley at Annaghdown on 27 October 1910. Bridget Dooley is the eldest daughter of Patrick Hardiman (Hagadon)1847-1817and Bridget Small 1864-1932.
I have copies of a number of different certificates plus a family tree which maybe of interest to you.
