Searching for Gr-Gr Grandfather and more birthplaces. -Michael Corless, born March (?) 1831(?). According to a short bio I found he said he was born in Kilbeacanty Parish, emigrated to the US ~1858, with father, Edward, and some siblings, brother Patrick, sisters Catherine & Mary and ended up in Louisville, Kentucky, US.
His father was Edward Corless, born in County Mayo, 1795, said to be 'a man of education' (?). Mother was Hannah Coneley who died in Ireland before 1858. Thanks

Dear Lisa, I am the great granddaughter of the Michael Corless you mentioned in your post. My grandmother was his daughter, Mary Lawrence Corless Fischer. Did you ever receive a reply from Kilbeacanty Parish?
