The 2015 Beast of Ballyhoura recently hosted the European Finals of the Adventure Racing European Series (ARES).
Did you take part in this 40 hour non-stop race or did the Beast defeat you? Teams from all over Europe traveled to take part in the 40 hour event.
Established by Ballyhoura Fáilte to celebrate the range of outdoor activities in the Ballyhoura area it had been organised in association with Causeway Coast Adventure Racing.
The Beast, so named due to the sleep deprivation and exhaustion it causes is increasingly popular and has a wide appeal.
