Canney or Kenny family

Hello, my daughter and I will arrive Sept 16th and go straight to Limerick to find any more info on my great grandmother Mary Canney and her father John Canney who was a tutor.  There lived on Pump Lane now Stewart St. This is on Kings Island near the Army Barracks in the middle of the 1800's. She was married in St Mary's I think and then they were posted to India. We will have a car and it would be great to talk to anyone who is familiar with the area. I have seen a program on BBC that shows the castle and its being restored.  We live in Vermont US, Thank you
