my dna results show that my ancestors came from Cork, Kerry and Limerick - the family names I'm researching are Hannigan, Quinn and Keelin. If anyone can give me any help re parish I'd be very grateful

  • Keelin (aka Keelan ak Keeling aka Keelahan aka Kelihan) may be your best lead due to it being a rarer surname in these parts.

  • Hi There

Just as a matter of interest the name ''Hannigan'' there is only one parish in Co. Limerick that I have come across that name and every Hannigan/Hennigan spring from that area. That parish is Dromcolligher and its local parishes.
