Searching for a set of my 2x Great Grandparents on my mother’s side of the family.  Looking for help in deciphering marriage record of Josephum Manning and Honoram Reidy 30 July 1857 at the RC Parish Kilcolman, Limerick.

https://search.findmypast.com/record?id=IRE%2FPRS%2FMICROFILM02421-09%2F0019&parentid=IRE%2FPRS%2FMAR%2F1349828%2F2

I am also looking for any other information I can find for Joseph and Honora.

I presume this must be Honora’s home parish since I am pretty sure RC Shanagolden is Joseph’s home parish due to that is where 5 of their 6 children whose baptisms I found were.  I haven’t found the sixth baptism yet only a civil registration.

Their children’s records I have found thus far, all baptisms at RC Church Shanagolden - Ellen 22 Apr 1860; Joseph 18 Feb 1862; James 2 Feb 1864; William 28 Feb 1866; Mortimer not found; Patrick (my great grandfather) 3 Feb 1871

The civil birth registrations I have found thus far are all Registration District of Shanagolden, Union of Glin, County of Limerick – Ellen and Joseph not found; James 28 Jan 1864 Briskagh; William 25 Feb 1866 Shanid; Mortimer 19 Apr 1867 Shanid; Patrick 21 Jan 1871 Shanid.  On James birth record informant reflected as grandmother Hanora Manning

As always, any assistance is much appreciated.

  • Patricia,

Thank you for finding death record for likely my 3x Great Grandmother.  Other than as informant on a grandchild's baptism this is the first.

I already have the 1911 Ballyane census - William Manning 6 is my grandfather who left Limerick and came to the USA in 1929, Patrick Manning 41 is my great grandfather, and Hanorra Manning 80 is Patrick's mother and my 2x great grandmother

I am trying to find information about Patrick's parents Joseph Manning and Honoram Reidy.  I found a marriage record on NLI 30 July 1857 at the RC Parish Kilcolman, Limerick, but need help in deciphering.
