My grandmother, Ellen Wallace was born on June 29,1883 in Glin. Her father was Michael Wallace and her mother was Kate (O Shea). I am attempting to find out more about my grandmother. She moved to America and was married in New York City to Thomas Donovan from Tarbert. Sadly Ellen died on February 3,1920, two days after giving birth to my father, Michael James Donovan.Ellen was baptized in Glin (I visited that church, but can’t at this time remember it’s name). Would appreciate any information on my Grandmother. I have applied for Irish citizenship and will visit with my family at the beginning of September. Thank you, Paul Donovan

I located the civil marriage record for your great-grandparents in 1878. Fathers names are listed.

According to Roots Ireland, there were four baptismal records in Glin for children of Micharl and Catherine: Helen 1883 Joanna 1885 John 1888 David 1890 Catherine died soon after David was born (first link). Michael then married Margaret Geoghegan in 1893 (fourth link) and they had six children. Second and third links are the 1901 and 1911 census records. Michael died in 1937 and Margaret died in 1940 (last two links).
