My Great Great Grandparents Anthony Carey (b 1811 in Castlebar) and his wife Mary McCaffrey (Cafferkey) emigrated to Canada prior to 1840, first settling in Quebec. I have no knowledge of their siblings or parents. I have a very strong DNA link to others whose ancestors came from Murrevagh, Mulraney and Achill Island. A possible relative is Mary Carey b about 1842 in Murrevagh who married Thomas Barret and emigrated to Ohio. Any information would be appreciated.
