Could use some help with my greatx4 grandparents. If anyone could point me in a direction or can provide any further info on the families, as I virtually no nothing about this side, it'd be most appreciated.

Husband:
James McMullen (b. 1813 or 1815 in Anghamullin, Co. Monaghan, Ireland)

Wife:
Rebec(c)a Henry (b. 1821 in Anghamullin, Co. Monaghan, Ireland)

I'm thinking "Anghamullin" is actually "Aghnamullen", and was just written down wrong. Both immigrated to America (not sure when, but my guess is before or on 1842, which is when they were married), and lived out their remaining days in Iowa.

Again, many thanks.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

You did not mention the religious denomination but no RC or Chruch of Ireland records are available for Agnamullen prior to 1842. Just to be sure, I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland but did not find a marriage record.

The 1861 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Aghnamullen civil parish does show some Henery/Henry records as well as McMullan/Mullen records so likely some are connected to your ancestors.

You may want to add the story of James and Rebecca to our XO Chronicles site and possibly someone will see a connection.

    Have you considered DNA testing?
