Seeking ancestors and descendants of Patrick Kelly b.1835 and Margaret Costello Kelly - married in 1876 and lived in Carrentarriff Dysart, Ballinasloe, Ballyforan, Roscommon. Patrick's father was Denis Kelly - mother may have been Brigid Reynolds. Margaret's father was Patrick Costello - mother unknown so far. Margaret & Patrick's children - John and Mary immigrated to Boston. Their son Dennis remained in Ireland and may have lived at the address above until the 1950s. He had children; James, Thomas & Kitty Kelly Reddinton.  I believe - these children would be over 75 at this point in time. Would love to connect.

    My family also lived in Carrontariff going back to 1659.I can't add much info about your family,but there was
    Kelly's living in Carrontariff in The census of 1659.The census doesn't give individual names for your Kelly's
    but states they lived there.The census of Elphin in 1749 states that William Kelly and Edmund Kelly were living in Carrontariff at that time.The Tithe allotment of 1828 list's John,Michael,Brian,Denis,and Thomas Kelly living there.Griffith valuation of 1855 lists Denis,Thomas,Peter,and Edmund living there.The only Costello I found in 1828 was Thomas Costello living in Feevagh more,which was real close to Carrontariff.Carrontariff was only a couple hundred acres so our families probably knew each other.
    Michael Dillon was my 3X Great grandfather who was living there.I don't know much more about him,but
    his son's all left Ireland very early 1841-1847.I know quite a bit about them in the states.
