My great grandfather, Henry King, married his first wife Rebecca Johnson/Johnston in Aghanagh I think on 16 June 1857. They had two children, John Andrew King, Born in Aghanagh on 7th June 1858 and Mary Anne King born on 16 June 1859.
Henry King married his second wife on 15th November 1866 (not in Aghanagh) so I presume his first wife Rebecca died sometime between 1859 and 1866. My query is if anyone knows if there is a Johnson/Johnston or King grave in Aghanagh where Rebecca may be buried.
According to marriage details Rebecca's parents were given as Patricia and John/James Johnson/Johnston.

Yes you are correct in thinking he was Church of Ireland. Will try a search in Ballinafad. (Think I may know someone who lives in that village).
