Dear Jane:

Michael Foley and his wife Mary lived in Co. Sligo from 1805 to 1850. Michael was a stone mason. His son John aka Michael emigrated to Wolverhampton, Eng. in the 1850s. I am not sure if his parents also went. John later emigrated to Ohio.

I see a newspaper article about a Michael Foley living in Newtown Anderson and would like to learn more about him on a hunch. For many years I have searched all records that I can but haven't found anything definite.
