For the fourth year in a row, Bournea Reaching Out launched their book of articles about the people and place of Clonakenny and Couraguneen, which make up the Civil Parish of Bournea in County Tipperary.

This book has been a community effort, with everyone from primary school students to sporting heroes to proud local businesses getting involved to contribute stories and articles that shine a light on the heritage of this Tipperary rural area.  Not only does it bring to life the past of Bournea parish, it also looks at influential figures from the community who made an impact in their country of destination: people such as Reverand James Mulally, founder of one of Chicago's prominent parishes and former First Lady Bess Truman. Click her to read Bess's profile on the XO Chronicles which has been created by Bournea Reaching Out.

On the night of the launch, Eamon O'Dwyer was there to record his popular radio programme for Tipp FM "Down your way".
