I am trying to trace my great grandmothers family. Her name was Mary Fitzgerald (born around 1893) and she was from the Carrick On Suir area. At some point she went to Kilkenny (Callan district) and married Patrick Reade in 1915. Her father was called James and was born around 1856 (on her marriage certificate her fathers occupation is listed as a 'servant'. Her mother I think was called Bridget (maiden name unknown) and was born around 1860, I also think she died during 1902. Any information/help in finding out names/dates/likely buriels places etc would be greatky appreciated.

    I checked Roots Ireland and found a transcription of the 1887 marriage record for James Fitzgerald and Bridget Banks. The record shows the names of the fathers of the bride and groom.

    I also checked Roots Ireland and found the 1892 civil birth record transcription for Mary. Also located civil records for four siblings: James 1888, Henry 1891 Ellen 1898 and Patrick 1900. Henry and Ellen were not on the 1901 census. They might have died or possibly were living with relatives.
