I am looking for someone who can help me pinpoint ancestral sites in County Tyrone and County Derry for an upcoming trip in Fall 2022.

Surnames are Cathcart, Marshall, Alexander, Cousley, Steele

My Great, great grandfather John Marshall Cathcart was born in either Cookstown or Pomeroy March 11, 1842. He came to United States about 1860. His parents are Gabriel Cathcart (born 1817) and Hester Marshall Cathcart (born 1818). Hester’s widowed mother, Letitia Marshall, was an innkeeper in Pomeroy in 1839. Gabriel Cathcart was living near Magherafelt in 1839 when he and Hester Marshall married. The Cathcart, Cousley, and Steele families are also associated with Springlane Farm, Ballymuckleheany, County Derry.

Sarah Alexander, my great great grandmother, born in either Pomeroy or Belfast, joined a brother or uncle in the United States. There she married John Marshall Cathcart.  Sarah J [Jane?] Alexander, born February 24, 1837. Died August 16, 1917 in Illinois      Parents James Alexander and Letitia Marshall Alexander

Sarah’s brother, William James Alexander, born 1833 in County Tyrone, Ireland, married Hetty [Sarah Hester] Kyle, daughter of Robert Kyle and Esther [Hester] Cathcart in 1905 in Kent County, Ontario, Canada. Both Hetty and William were born in County Tyrone according to their marriage record. They died in Illinois, USA.

Is there a local person who can help me with local sites? Connections with cousins would be a bonus. Thank you
