Hello, I have currently come across a record on LDS of an Isabella Manary christened in the Eglish Parish in 1803..Father was David Manary and Mother listed only as Mary...I am wondering if you might have any other information on this Family?

  • Hello Clare..I have not yet found any further Info on this family...Any info that you might be able to provide on any Manary in Northern Ireland around 1800 would be most helpful...TY Todd Manary

  • Happy New Year!

According to rootsireland.ie this family lived at Killymaddy in the Church of Ireland parish of Eglish. Isabella was born on 15th May 1803. I searched for other children born to David and Mary but could find nothing further. I couldn't find a marriage record for any David Manary and Mary either. Records for Eglish start in 1803 for baptisms and 1804 for marriages so this may well be as much info as you can find on this side of the family, certainly from the perspective of the parish records.

  • Thank you Clare...Not great news......I have about 6 or 7 clear leads on Manary`s in Northern Ireland pre 1800 but I can find nothing concrete as to family lines....Maybe this is as close as I get....
