Looking for relatives....My greatx3 grandfather, Maurice Hyland married Mary Blaney in 1837 in Rochfortbridge. Currently, looking for their relatives. Was told many years ago that Maurice was born cira 1814-1816 on Christmas Day in Athlone, but have not been able to confirm that.
Recently, found James Hyland listed in the 1835 Griffiths Valuation of Westmeath; in townland of Farthingstown, Parish of Castlelost. I would like to see if they link up. If anyone has any information or is interested in sharing, I would love to hear from you.
If anyone has HYLAND or BLANEY family in this area we could be related.
