Robert French photographed Dunlo street in 1900.

Today the town's Garda Station is located in the first buildings you see on the left. The once-famous Hayden's Hotel was for years located opposite, on the right of the photograph.

At the bottom of the street is the entrance to St Michael's Square on the right, where today stands a statue of a horse that celebrates the town's October Horse Fair, renowned throughout the world as being the oldest in Europe.
