Knockfierna The Hill of Trust

Knockfierna Hill of Trust is a scenic and historic hill in County Limerick that is known in folklore and legend.  It is accessible via the R518 Road between Ballingarry-Kilmallock and it features a number of different sites including the remnants of a famine village, the flora in the area, the Giant's grave, a cairn, and a fort.  The scenic walk takes the visitor through these sites and on a clear day at a height of 315 metres, six counties can be seen.
