Paula ancestor Miles Edward Mahon was born August 15, 1820 and immigrated to Massachusetts through New York City in 1848. He married in Springfield, Massachusetts and then settled in Palo Alto County, Iowa. He was from Tim(m)ore, County Wicklow. He married Ann Kearns in Wicklow Parish in 1806. His first six children were baptized there, as well, between 1807-1818. The latter six children were born about 1819-1827 in Timore Townland in the Upper Newcastle Civil Parish.
