Would like info about this mother & daughter. Mary born c. 1833 & went to Birmingham,UK where she married John Hasty on 23 Dec 1853 at St Chad's Cathedral. Catharine (widow) appeared on 1871 Census living with Mary & the Hasty family. Co Mayo was cited as their birthplace.Catharine died on 1 Oct 1873 aged 61. She was the widow of Dominic Gavin farm labourer.

I tried to locate Mary's baptism on rootsireland.ie but was unsuccessful. I couldn't find any Dominick Gavin entries on Griffith's Valuation but there are a number of 'Gavan' entries, mostly in Co. Mayo:

Dominick may be recorded in one of the above, though it would be difficult to know for sure.
