I am looking for any information regarding my GGGrandparents, Martin Murray b about 1835 and Elizabeth Kilchrist, b abt 1840.  Martin reported he was born in Moyglass, but I have nothing on Elizabeth.  They went on to have 7 sons, Martin b1866, Patrick Michael b1867, Michael b1868, John Thomas b1871, Joseph b1873, Thomas b1876, and James b1877.  No records yet on any female siblings.  All christenings are in Woodford or Loughrea.   Patrick is my GGrandfather, who moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, United States about 1880-1881.  His brother John also went there around 1890.  Like to find out what happened to the rest of them, did they leave there for here?  Did they die there?  Did they actually live in Moyglass, or somewhere else?  What Church?

Thank you for any help you can give.

Below is the 1901 census record for the family and they were living in Moyglass townland in Ballynakill civil parish. Looks like there was a younger sister Mary Anne. I did not see them in the 1911 census in Moyglass possibly they died between 1901 and 1911. I wiIll do some more searching and also try to determine the church.

It appears that the Murrays would have been members of the RC church in Woodford. See first link to the Clonfert Diocese list of parishes. I found a link to a site where a Jane Rock Kennedy has transcribed the baptisms (1865-1889) for the parish of Woodford and Looscaun. I went thru the earlier years but did not see Martin Murray as father. You should review in more detail to see if you can locate any records. If not Woodford, not sure what parish.

I did not find Martin and or Eliza in the 1911 census (at least in the general area). I also did not find a good civil death index record for either of them. Any possibility they emigrated after to 1901.
