Hi, I'm trying to locate family members from my late father Francis ward, the info I have so far is he was born to a Bernard ward and Mary ward( maiden name McDermott) they married in 1941, Bernard was previously married to an Alice Ryan in 1928 whom sadly passed at a young age, I believe Bernard's parents where a Martin and Margaret ward, I know Bernard passed in 1957 aged 72, my father was born in rosecommon Ireland in1941 and I believe he had many siblings, a john, Mary, Philip, philomena, Agnes, Antony and others, my father moved to England when he was young and died in 2000 aged 59, I would like to locate his siblings or children of theirs, which would be my cousins, thank you, any help would be great

An alternative for you might be to post a letter to the editor of one of the provincial newspapers with regard to your search.
The provincial paper in Roscommon is the Roscommon Herald.

You don't mention the county and maybe you don't have that information.
I looked at the 1901 census for all of Ireland searching for all Bernard Wards age 10-20. There were 23 and none had a father named Martin.
I did find a civil marriage index record for Bernard and Mary and they were married in early 1941 in the Roscommon registration district which covers a good number of parishes in central Co. Roscommon and small sliver of East Galway. Likely they were from Roscommon. www.irishgenealogy.ie has civil marriage images from 1882-1940 Hopefully they will add the 1941 images soon. You can also write to the General Register Office for a copy. Here is the index info.
