King/Fitzgerald

I located a baptism of a Jacobum King (James) in this RC parish of 'Portlaw & Ballyduff' on the 12th August 1836 , parents Thomas King & Maria (Mary) Donovan - this parish is in Co. Waterford and adjacent to ''Owning & Templeorum' Co. Kilkenny so probably the same couple as mentioned in your other post.

This was the only King Catholic baptism I located in the parish in the records online - i.e. between 1805 and 1881

I located just one Fitzgerald baptism during these years - a Mariam (Mary) baptised 1st November 1872 to Edvardi (Edward) Fitzgerald & Anna Donovan - see near the top of this register page (the 2nd entry for November). 

Many thanks for your info.  I have not been able to find much info on my  King and Fitzgerald families.  A little on the King side, but nothing on the Fitzgeralds.  I believe they were located in both Portlaw and Kilmacow across the border in Kilkenny.  Would be greatly appreciated if there is anyone else searching for these two families.
