The RC baptismal records for Bagenalstown RC parish start in 1820 so if your Michael James Doyle was baptized around 1812 in that parish, a record would not exist. Do you have any other information regarding Michael?

Hi Roger, sorry I have made an error. Michael Jame Doyle was born Bagenalstown, County Carlow in 1842. I am wanting information on Michael as well as his father Thomas Doyle born 12/01/1812 and his mother Ann (Nancy) Fortune born 1818. Thomas Thomas's father's name is James Doyle and his mother was Mary Dillon. James was 26 when Thomas was born and Mary was 22. Michael Jame Doyle came to Australia around 1865. Sorry for the confusion and wasting your time with the wrong information.

There is no Michael Doyle baptismal record in 1842 in Bagenalstown and there are no Michael Doyle baptismal records with a mother with the maiden name of Fortune anywhere in Co. Carlow.

There was a Michael Doyle baptismal record November 5 1842 at St. Mullins parish (not Bagenalstown) father Thomas Doyle mother Anne Ryan. They lived in Drummond.

Thomas and Anne were married in Borris on February 16 1841.
