Looking for information on John O'Connor born abt 1840 in Doonard. He married Catherine Connor b abt 1840 in Tarbert. . They had a daughter, Mary Josephine born 1869 in Ballylongford. The family immigrated to Tennessee USA in 1872. John's parents are John O'Connor and Mary McAvoy. Catherine's are Ambrose O!Connor and Anne Enright. They lived in the parish of Aghavallen. John (1840) siblings are Margaret, Hanora, Jeremiah. One of John's sisters married a Hanrahan. Two of the Hanrahan sisters both married Keane brothers. That's about all I know. Would be  thankful for any information or contacts with Irish Cousins. Thank you.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Unfortunately, there is a big gap in Ballylongford RC records in the 19th century. Baptismal records are not available from June 1838 until October 1869. Also, church marriage records are not available from November 1837 until at least 1880  https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0654   Most marriages from 1864 on should be civilly registered and the images are available from 1870-1941 at the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie  under Civil Records TAB.  There are only index records for the period 1864-1869 but we expect the images to be available in the near future. Your family records should be in the Listowel registration district. Let me know the names for any marriages from 1864 on and I will see if I can locate a record. By the way, that same site www.irishgenealogy.ie  under the Church Records TAB has church records for Co. Kerry parishes that are available.
