Portlaw

Mt grandfather, William O'Neill, emigrated as a small child to Northern England from Porttaw, together with his father John and stepmother Mary (nee Doody) who came from Kilkenny.  There were also two step sisters in the family.  We would love some information on the family, particularly the name of William's mother.  My own mother said she died when William was born and she didn't know her name. John is certified widower on his marriage to Mary.  The family emigrated around 1870, William was born around 1867.  Thank you.
